What an affiliate link is
Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket. You are never charged more for using our link, and you're free to search for the product directly instead.
Programs we participate in
Massage Chair Insider participates in retailer affiliate advertising programs, which provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to participating retailers.
How we keep it honest
An affiliate site has an obvious conflict of interest, so here are the rules we hold ourselves to. If we ever break one, we'd rather you be able to point at this page:
- Commission rate never affects ranking. We do not compare what different retailers or brands pay us when deciding what to recommend, and we don't check before writing.
- We recommend products we would not earn on. Where the best answer is a model we can't monetize — or is "a massage chair isn't the right purchase for you" — that's what we say.
- No paid placements. We do not accept payment, free product, gifts, trips or any other consideration in exchange for coverage, a rating, a placement or a link.
- Brands don't get review privileges. No manufacturer sees an article before it publishes or has any right to change it.
- Commissions never buy a health claim. We don't repeat a brand's therapeutic marketing to make a sale — see our editorial policy.
- Disclosure is on the page, not just here. Every article that carries affiliate links shows a disclosure above the content, before the first link.
Prices and availability
Prices, specifications and availability change constantly and vary by retailer, and massage chairs are discounted heavily and often. Any figure we quote was accurate when written or last reviewed, and should be treated as a guide rather than a live quote. Always confirm the current price, model number, dimensions, weight capacity and what the delivery tier actually includes on the retailer's page before buying.
We are not the seller
We don't stock, ship, sell, install or service any product. Your purchase contract, payment, warranty, returns, white-glove delivery and support are entirely with the retailer or manufacturer. Questions about an order need to go to them, not to us.
